Sabine started her carrier as a yoga teacher. She studied at the Ecole Francaise de Yoga in Paris, which consisted of a 4 year training course involving 900 hours of study alongside personal yoga practice. She successfully qualified in 1998.
Following a shoulder injury that Sabine did not manage to heal through her yoga practice, she sought the help of an osteopath. Amazed by how effective the treatments were, she decided to study osteopathy. She graduated in 2010 from the London School of Osteopathy and gained a BSc (Hons) in Osteopathy with the University of Brighton. She is registered with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy (Io). After graduating, she carried on improving her skills by attending postgraduate training in the field of Cranial Osteopathy, Kinesiology taping and Medical Acupuncture. She is registered with the British Medical Acupuncture Society (BMAS).
She also carried on developing her knowledge of body movements to further help her patients. She trained with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute and studied all matwork and equipment levels of Pilates. She also successfully trained with Movement Solution for rehabilitation.
More recently, Sabine studied at the British Academy of Sound Therapy and gained a Practitioner Level Diploma as a Sound Therapist as she wanted to be able to create a safe space where individuals can relax very deeply physically and mentally, release some physical and emotional blockages and stress.
In a similar frame of mind, Sabine decided to study hypnotherapy with Hypnotic Solutions Training in UK to help patients suffering from pain via another complementary route along with manual and exercise therapy. Patients in pain can become very anxious, fear movements, stop working, feel down, to mention just a few behavioural changes, which in turn create a negative feedback loop and increase the perception of pain levels. Pain perception depends on patient life history and is very much linked to emotions and learnt past behaviour. Sabine is registered with the General Hypnotherapy Council (GHR), the National Guild of Hypnotherapist and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC).
All these years of professional experience, training and personal growth are leading Sabine to organise workshop and day retreats. In the longer term, sabine is planning on organising weekend and week retreats, which will include yoga or movement sessions, group voice therapy, sound baths, group hypnotherapy for deep relaxation or other goals.
